To properly care for your ILLARA handbag please follow the instructions below:
Store your handbag upright in its dust bag in a cool, dry area. Prevent other objects from pressing against the stone hardware as the pressure may cause indentation marks in the leather.
Protect your handbag from exposure to humidity, heat (radiators, sun) and direct sources of light (sun and artificial).
Avoid contact with harsh chemicals, alcohol such as perfumes, greasy substances, make-up, dirt, liquids, rain, and rough or abrasive surfaces and materials.
Take care to avoid rough exposure to the leather, gold plated hardware and semi-precious gemstones as damage or scratching may occur.
Avoid exposure to dark denim or other dark fabrics with loose dye, as the leather could be subject to color transfer or stains.
Regularly gently wipe exotic leather with a soft, dry white cloth. Never use stain remover or water to clean exotic leather. Water may leave permanent water marks on the leather.
Use a suede-specific product on the interior suede lining, making sure to avoid contact with the exotic leather.
In the event that your handbag requires deep cleaning we recommend only cleaning your handbag with a leather specialist experienced with exotic leather.
To care for the 18k gold plated hardware use a speciality gold polishing cloth and wipe lightly.
